Amy Hunter Wright

Amy Hunter Wright is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public affairs and media relations. Currently serving as Vice President of Public Affairs at the National Automobile Dealers Association since February 2025, Amy previously held the position of Director of Strategic Communications at Stand Together from July 2023 to May 2024. Over an eight-year tenure at the National Rifle Association, Amy led external communications, managing messaging for numerous federal and state legislative efforts and serving as a media liaison. Early career highlights include roles as Senior Digital Editor at WTOP News, Assignment Editor at WFTX FOX 4, and Staff Writer at the Pulitzer Prize-winning Bristol Herald Courier. Amy holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University and two Master's degrees in Journalism from Columbia University.
