George Cherian

George Cherian has extensive experience in finance and accounting, with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as Finance Manager at National Aviation Services since March 2005, George is responsible for all accounting functions within the company. Previous roles include Assistant Manager in the Finance Department, overseeing accounting entries for accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and the general ledger, as well as Accounts Supervisor and Senior Accountant focused on travel agency accounts. Before joining National Aviation Services, George worked at Sanbouk Group from August 1991 to February 2005 as Senior Accountant, supervising accounting functions for travel, freight, and car rental operations. Earlier positions also include Accountant at Sanbouk Travels and Clerk Cashier at Union Bank of India. George holds a B.Com in Accountancy, Cost Accounting, and Banking from Mar Ivanios College and completed schooling at S.M.V. High School.
