Ahmed al Majed

Ahmed Al Majed, CDCS, CSCF, currently serves as Group Head of Trade Finance Operations at the National Bank of Bahrain since November 2023, bringing over 14 years of expertise in International Trade Finance operations. Previously, Ahmed held the position of Senior Associate at Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation (APICORP) from May 2020 to November 2023 and Unit Head at BBK (Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait) from February 2006 to April 2020. Ahmed's career began as a Clerk in Trade Finance at Ahli United Bank in early 2006. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Bahrain, along with qualifications from LIBF, Ahmed demonstrates a strong ability to adapt in dynamic economic and compliance environments.
