Phil Gagnon

Phil Gagnon is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in sales and trading, currently serving as Managing Director at the National Bank of Canada since January 2020. Gagnon is also a board member at Alliance Française de Hong Kong since January 2024. Previously, Gagnon held key positions at Deutsche Bank from April 2014 to January 2020, including Vice President in Japan Equities Index/Delta1 Trading and Assistant Vice President in Japan Rates Market Risk Management. Earlier roles include Junior Market Risk Manager for variable annuities at ING from January 2011 to April 2014, and an internship at The Economist Intelligence Unit in 2010. Gagnon holds a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Université Laval.
