Wael Abou Ali

Wael Abou Ali, CPA, currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of Financial Control at the National Bank of Egypt since September 2008. Prior experience includes roles as General Manager and Head of Finance at Ahly United Bank from March 2007 to September 2008, Financial Controller at Barclays Bank from 2005 to 2007, and Audit Senior Manager at PwC from September 2003 to August 2005. Wael began the career at Ernst & Young, where positions included Assistant Manager and Senior Auditor from 1996 to 2003. Wael holds a CPA in Accounting and Finance from the California Board of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Cairo University.
