Yasser Fahmy

Yasser Fahmy is an experienced professional in cyber security governance and project management, currently serving as the General Manager of Cyber Security Governance at the National Bank of Egypt since May 2014. In this role, responsibilities include designing comprehensive cyber security policies, leading risk assessments for IT changes, and managing compliance with various cyber security regulations. Previous experience includes a significant tenure at Orange Business Services, where Yasser held multiple positions, including Senior Project Manager and Lead Internal Auditor, focusing on the implementation of ISO standards across international locations. Yasser began a career in lean and Six Sigma project management at LG Electronics, following a B.Sc. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering.
