Efstratios Molyviatis

Stratos Molyviatis was born in Athens. He holds a BSc in Mathematics from the National University of Athens and an MSc in Informatics and Cybernetics from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom.

He began his professional career as a Financial Services Consultant for Andersen Consulting in 1998 and continued in his successor, Accenture, where he worked for 15 years. He has worked in Core Banking implementations, in strategic IT projects, in system integration projects, but also mergers, in Greece, in Europe and in the Middle East. In 2011 he led the Financial Services for the Accenture branch in Greece.

He took over as CIO of First Data in Greece at the end of 2012. In 2013 he took over Poland and the Baltic States, and in 2015 he was promoted to VP Technology Europe. In 2017 he became CIO of First Data for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe.

In August 2018, he took over the position of Group CIO of the National Bank. Since October 2020, he is Group COO of the National Bank, responsible for the IT and Operations of the Bank and the Group.
