Orestis Spathis

Orestis Spathis is an experienced professional in the field of risk management, currently serving as the Head of Group RDARR Validation at the National Bank of Greece since September 2025. Prior to this role, Orestis spent two decades at Alpha Bank, progressing from a Senior Credit Officer in the Retail Credit Division to managerial positions, including Manager of Regulatory Reporting and leading the Credit Risk Data Management Division. Throughout the career, Orestis has specialized in regulatory reporting, credit risk data quality, and analysis, with expertise in various reporting frameworks such as FinRep and Pillar III. Orestis holds a Master's Degree in Financial Analysis for Executives from the University of Piraeus and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
