Pavlos Mylonas

Pavlos Mylonas was appointed CEO in July 2018. He joined the National Bank in 2000 and served, among others, as an Executive Member of the Board of Directors, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, General Manager of Risk Management, and Chief Strategy Officer.

He worked at the OECD from 1995 to 2000 and at the International Monetary Fund from 1987 to 1995. From 1985 to 1987, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Boston University.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics-Economics (Magna cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa) from Brown University, as well as a postgraduate and doctoral degree in Economics from Princeton University.
