Maher Awali

Maher Awali, MBA, serves as the Chief Financial Officer at the National Bank of Iraq since May 2019, responsible for overall financial management, business analysis, and reporting, while ensuring alignment with the organization's financial objectives. Prior experience includes critical financial roles at Capital Bank of Jordan as Financial Control Senior Manager and various positions at Capital Investments and Capital Bank of Jordan, including Finance Manager and heads of financial accounting and managerial accounting units. Maher began a career in finance as a Senior MIS Reporting Officer at Cairo Amman Bank and has also served as a Field Loan Officer at Ahli Microfinance. Educational qualifications include an MBA in E-Business from Mutah University, a Diploma in Financial Analysis from the Institute of Banking Studies, and a Bachelor's in Financial Sciences from Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan.
