Evans Abuuru

Evans Abuuru has extensive experience in the banking and microfinance sectors, having held key leadership roles at prominent institutions. At the National Bank of Kenya, Evans served as Head of Channels and Partnerships, focusing on digital retail channels, and previously as Head of Micro Banking, driving financial solutions for small enterprises. Prior to that, Evans was Chief Operations Officer at Musoni, where leadership was provided for strategic direction and branch performance. At KCB Bank Group, work included roles as Senior Manager in Microfinance, emphasizing strategy development for the microfinance market, and Business Banking Manager, enhancing client relationships within the MSME segment. Earlier experience includes serving as Sacco Relationship Manager and Micro Credit Officer at The Co-operative Bank of Kenya. Evans holds an MBA in Strategic Management from United States International University - Africa and a Diploma in Microfinance from Strathmore University.
