George Vranopoulos

George Vranopoulos, PhD, serves as the Executive Manager and Head of Development at the National Bank of Kuwait since June 2016. With extensive experience in information technology and banking, Vranopoulos previously held positions such as R&D Technology & Architecture at Piraeus Bank and IT Manager roles at Marfin Egnatia Bank. Vranopoulos also worked in various capacities at Egnatia Bank and Ippokambos Marine Constructions, and has a background in academia as a lecturer at DEREE-The American College of Greece. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Information Technology from the University of Plymouth, an MSc in Information Systems Management from the University of Stirling, and a BS in Organizational Behavior & Management Information Systems from The American College of Greece.
