Hussain Mohsin

Hussain Mohsin has extensive work experience in the field of information security. Hussain is currently working as the Head of Information Security at the National Bank of Kuwait since October 2020. Prior to this, they held various roles at Gulf International Bank, including Infrastructure Security Head- Information Security Department, AVP - IT Security, and Manager - IT Security from 2015 to 2019. Before that, they worked as a Supervisor - IT Infrastructure and Security at Arab Financial Services from 2013 to 2015. Hussain'scareer started at the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority - Bahrain, where they worked as an IT Administrator - Acting Manager from 2009 to 2013.

Hussain Mohsin obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Bahrain, which they attended from 2002 to 2006. In addition, they have obtained various certifications including Certified Chief Information Security Officer from EC-Council (obtained in 2022), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² (obtained in April 2021), Certified In Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA (obtained in January 2021), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA (obtained in February 2021), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² (obtained in 2016). Hussain also holds certifications such as ISO 27001 lead implementer, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, ITIL Foundation Certificate, ITIL Service Strategy (ITIL-SS), MCITP Enterprise Administrator, PCI DSS v3.2 Compliance, and VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
