Nayana Kurkal

Nayana Kurkal has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector, currently holding the position of Senior Dealer/Senior Manager in Treasury at the National Bank of Kuwait since June 2008. Responsibilities include co-determining foreign currency prices and managing asset-liability positions in foreign currencies. Nayana has received multiple honors, including "Best Employee of the Year" in 2009 and certificates of appreciation for IT-Operational projects in 2011, 2012, and 2013. Previous roles include Centralized Operations Manager and Foreign Exchange & MM Specialist at Emirates NBD, as well as Business Operations Specialist at Alahli Bank of Kuwait-Dubai. Nayana possesses a Bachelor of Commerce from Poorna Prajna College-Mangalore University, an Advanced Diploma in Software Applications from Tata Infotech, and has completed various banking and financial training courses at the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies.
