Zaheeruddin Babar has extensive experience in the banking sector, serving at the National Bank of Pakistan since January 2009, where current responsibilities as Country Manager include management and supervision of the Tokyo and Osaka branches, along with oversight of marketing, risk management, operations, compliance, AML, internal control, and profitability. Previous roles at the National Bank include Regional Executive - Credit, Incharge Operations, and Branch Manager, with a focus on credit proposal assessment, operational affairs, and business development. Earlier experience includes positions as Manager Operations, Incharge FC Accounts & Remittance, and Incharge Import/Export, all contributing to a solid foundation in banking operations. Zaheeruddin holds a Masters in Business Administration from Hamdard University and an Associateship from the Institute of Bankers Pakistan.
