Gilbert Barigye Acca

Gilbert Barigye ACCA, CPA has a solid work experience in the finance and accounting field. Gilbert currently holds the position of Director of Finance at the National Bank of Rwanda, a role they began in April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Accountant at the National Bank of Rwanda from November 2016 to April 2022.

Before joining the National Bank of Rwanda, Gilbert worked at Equity Bank Rwanda PLC as an Assistant Manager of Finance and Deputy CFO from September 2013 to November 2016. Gilbert also gained experience at the Rwanda Standards Board, where they held the position of Director of Planning & Budgets from July 2011 to August 2013.

Overall, Gilbert Barigye has progressively built their career and demonstrated expertise in finance and accounting through their various roles in leading financial institutions and organizations.

Gilbert Barigye ACCA, CPA pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Makerere University, completing their studies from 2001 to 2005.
