Bruce Markusen currently serves as the Manager of Digital and Outreach Learning at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, a role held since November 2013, where responsibilities include managing videoconference requests and overseeing 14 different units of study covering various topics. Since June 2009, Markusen has also contributed as a writer and columnist for The Hardball Times, focusing on baseball history in monthly articles. Prior professional experience includes serving as a hotel concierge at The Otesaga Resort Hotel from September 2011 to 2013. Markusen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus on Writing from Hamilton College, as well as a Bachelor of Science in English, Writing, and Economics from the same institution.
