David Stevenson

David Stevenson has a diverse work experience across various industries. David has worked as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Basketball League (NBL) since 2023, where they have achieved significant growth in key metrics such as broadcast, attendance, app downloads, and website views. Prior to that, they served as the Board Chair and Board Director at Dental Health Services Victoria, leading the organization's efforts in oral health care promotion and research.

David also held several positions at the Australian Football League (AFL), including GM Operations and GM China & India, where they played a crucial role in strategic growth priorities, expansion into new markets, and the successful execution of regular season games in China.

Additionally, David worked as a Partner at Bold Works, a consultancy firm focused on implementing bold and innovative ideas. David also served as the CEO of the Western Bulldogs in the AFL, achieving record-breaking results in various areas.

Before entering the sports industry, David worked at Nike in various senior management roles, overseeing sales operations across different regions. David was responsible for significant revenue and EBIT, as well as leading the commercial function for emerging markets.

Prior to that, David founded and owned Conversion Business Consulting. David began their career at Foot Locker as a store manager.

David Stevenson completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business in Management from Monash University, which they attended from 1995 to 2001. David also completed their Victorian Certificate of Education at Yarra Valley Grammar School, although the specific dates are unknown.
