John Casey

John Casey is a seasoned sports commentator with extensive experience at Seven Network as a commentator since January 1987, covering numerous Olympic events and serving as the basketball commentator for the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Additionally, John has been a courtside host and commentator at the National Basketball League (NBL) since March 1987, with a record of over 1000 basketball games, including significant international tournaments such as four Olympics and four World Championships. From August 2014 to March 2015, John contributed as a commentator for the FIBA World Championships and the Women's National Basketball League at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. John completed education at Broken Hill High School from 1976 to 1981.
