Michaela Hynes has a diverse and extensive work experience in the hair and beauty industry. Michaela started their career in 2007 as a Hair Stylist at Clive Alexander, where they received training and developed their skills in cutting, coloring, and styling hair. Michaela also grew their own client base during this time.
In 2011, Michaela became a Freelance Hair and Makeup Artist, providing a range of hairdressing and makeup services across the UK and Ireland. Michaela worked on fashion and hair shoots, acted as the head stylist for the Miss World finals, and traveled regularly to provide bridal hair services.
From 2011 to 2016, they held the position of Salon Manager and Head Stylist at Enhance Hair&Beauty. In this role, they were responsible for the smooth operation of the salon, including managing appointments, organizing training sessions for junior staff, and overseeing stock management.
In 2015, Michaela joined The London Hairdressing Apprenticeship Academy as the Head of Level 3 Hairdressing, Educator, and Assessor. Michaela created and delivered the NVQ level 3 course and managed a team of 5. Michaela also ensured that all students maintained professional standards and conducted regular reviews with learners.
From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Color Technical and Educator at Foster London Hair & Beauty, where they performed hair coloring services to master color expert standards, provided excellent customer service, and worked towards monthly sales targets.
From 2018 to 2022, Michaela held the position of Educator and Learning and Development Co-ordinator at London Hair Academy. In 2019, they joined Gielly Green as a Creative Stylist & Artist Colourist, specializing in creative hairstyling and coloring.
From 2020 to 2022, Michaela worked as a Technical Educator at Wella Professional, where they played a key role in providing technical education and training.
Most recently, in 2022, they began working at National Beauty Distribution as a Sales and Education Manager.

Michaela Hynes has a diverse education history that includes specialized programs and degrees in various fields. In 2007, they attended South West College and earned an NVQ degree in Hairdressing. Michaela also pursued a degree in Salon/Beauty Salon Management/Manager during the same period. In 2008-2009, Michaela returned to South West College to further their studies in salon management and obtained an NVQ degree in beauty therapy.
In 2012, they attended South West College again, completing a Foundation degree in Special Education and Teaching. During the same period, they also enrolled in a Makeup Artistry program at Paddy Mc Gurgan, expanding their skills in the field of make-up.
In 2014, Michaela obtained their first degree in Special Education and Teaching from South West College. Michaela furthered their expertise in the field by completing a Master Colour Program at Wella World Studio in 2016-2017.
In 2015, Michaela attended Vidal Sassoon, where they gained proficiency in hair styling through the ABC cutting program. Michaela later pursued their passion for make-up by attending the London Makeup School in 2018 and successfully completed the Professional Makeup Artistry program.
