Shannah West

Shannah West, J.D., currently serves as the National Director of Career and Professional Development for the National Black Law Students Association. With a robust background in career coaching as the founder of Shannah West Coaching, Shannah has successfully guided numerous clients through skill clarification coaching and the creation of ATS-compatible resumes and cover letters. Previous legal experiences include roles as a Litigation Clerk for the Animal Legal Defense Fund, Summer Associate Law Clerk at Best Buy, and a Legal Intern with Youth Represent. Shannah has also contributed as a Project Coordinator for the Women's Prison Association and served as an English teacher in the Peace Corps. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from John Jay College.
