Andrea Whiticar

Andrea Whiticar, SHRM-SCP, is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at The National Board for Certified Counselors since February 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Tanger Outlets for over two decades, starting in September 1998. At Tanger Outlets, they held the position of Assistant Vice President, Human Resources until November 2021.

Andrea Whiticar, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, which they earned from 1991 to 1995. Before attending university, they completed their high school education at East Henderson High School. Additionally, Andrea has obtained several certifications related to human resources, including the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in July 2016, and the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) from HRCI in June 2008.
