Ioana Neagoe, MS, LPC, NCC, is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling and research. Currently serving as a therapist at Emerge Therapy Pittsburgh since August 2022, Neagoe also holds the position of National Certified Counselor with The National Board for Certified Counselors since February 2021. Neagoe’s background includes a role as a senior clinician at UPMC, where involvement in research at the Western Psychiatric Institute & Clinic focused on late-life mental health. Prior experience includes an internship in perinatal mental health at Allegheny Health Network and various roles in market research and psycholinguistic studies. Neagoe earned a Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
