Kat Bashakevitz, MA, is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in counseling psychology and public health. Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Rural School Health and Education and a Graduate Student Trainee at the University of Denver Health and Counseling Center, Kat has been involved in multiple roles since 2019, including ECHO Coordinator for ECHO DU and minority fellow with The National Board for Certified Counselors. With a solid educational foundation, holding a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver and a degree in Public Health from the University of Tampa, Kat is currently pursuing a doctorate in Counseling Psychology at the University of Denver. Contributing to various research projects, including studies on LGB cancer experiences, Kat's background also includes clinical internships and assistantships enhancing public health initiatives.
