Scott has practiced medicine for over 25 years with a focus on preventive health. His interest in health promotion and disease prevention is a result of his lifelong interest in athletics & fitness and his experience as a United States Naval Flight Surgeon responsible for ensuring the health and safety of a Marine Corps fighter squadron while traveling extensively throughout the Western Pacific. Dr. Morcott completed his residency in Family Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and an Associate Fellowship in Integrative Medicine with Dr. Andrew Weil at the University of Arizona. He applied his experience and training in founding and operating an integrative family medicine practice for 20 years that combined allopathic medicine with benefits associated with fitness, nutrition and stress management. Recognizing the value of this practice philosophy, Dr. Morcott co-founded and serves as the Chief Medical Officer of PathFinder Health, a provider of preventive health services and health coaching to corporations throughout the U.S. He also owns and operates a series of travel medicine clinics, Passport Health, in Illinois and Wisconsin. Dr. Morcott works with health coaches on a regular basis and advocates for their value in the current health system. He has spoken extensively on preventive health issues and serves on his local college’s advisory committee for their health & wellness coaching program.
