Rebecca Steiner, PhD, currently serves as the Director and Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Genetics at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where additional responsibilities include Assistant Director of the Master of Medical Science Program. Since June 2022, Rebecca has been a member of the NBOME National Faculty. Previous academic roles include Adjunct Professor at Durham Technical Community College and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Rebecca's research experience includes a Graduate Research Associate position at The Ohio State University, as well as roles as an NSF Research Fellow and Research Intern during 2014. Rebecca earned a PhD in Biochemistry from The Ohio State University and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Mount Union.
