Debra Houser

Debra Houser is an experienced advocate and support specialist with a diverse background. Currently serving as a Storyteller for the Death with Dignity National Center, Debra shares personal experiences related to terminal illness to promote legislation in Maryland. As a Social Ambassador for the American Brain Tumor Association and a Patient Advocate for the National Brain Tumor Society, Debra engages in raising awareness for brain cancer through social media and advocacy efforts with lawmakers. Additionally, Debra has a solid technical support background at FEI Systems and Maxim Healthcare Services, holding various roles that include Software Support Specialist and Application Support Specialist, where responsibilities involved client support, EDI implementation, and training development.
