Mary Ann Laubacher is an experienced healthcare professional and active advocate in the brain tumor community. Currently serving as a consumer reviewer for the United States Department of Defense Peer Reviewed Cancer Research Program, Mary Ann also volunteers with the Tough2gether Foundation, supporting families affected by brain cancer, and with the American Brain Tumor Association, where involvement includes mentorship and participation in online forums. Additionally, Mary Ann engages in advocacy efforts with the National Brain Tumor Society. An independent gerontological nurse consultant since 2008, Mary Ann has a strong background in project and program development in health services and previous experience in telephonic behavioral health support. Educational credentials include a nursing degree focused on geriatrics from Upstate Medical University and earlier studies at Gonzaga University.
