Emily Hancock has a diverse work experience in various nonprofit organizations. Emily started their career as a Research Assistant at Texas Christian University in 2011. Emily then worked at Make-A-Wish North Texas as a Program Intern and later as a Wish Manager & Medical Approval Coordinator from 2012 to 2014. Emily then joined Susan G. Komen Dallas County as a Development Associate from 2014 to 2015. In the same year, they worked at Family Compass as a Special Events Coordinator. From 2015 to 2017, Emily was a Senior Individual Giving Coordinator at Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic. Emily then joined SafeHaven of Tarrant County, where they held the positions of Director of Donor Relations from 2017 to 2019 and Vice President of Development from 2019 to 2023. Currently, they are the Director of Donor Engagement at the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. starting from May 2023.
Emily Hancock attended Torrey Pines High School from 2005 to 2009, where they completed their high school education. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree, majoring in Psychology, from Texas Christian University, graduating in 2013.
