Aileen Fuchs

Aileen Fuchs has extensive experience in leadership roles within cultural institutions, currently serving as the President & Executive Director at the National Building Museum since May 2021. Previously, Aileen was the President & Chief Executive Officer of Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden from July 2017 to May 2021, and held positions at the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation from March 2011 to July 2017, including Executive Director of Exhibits & Programs and Deputy Director. Earlier experience includes serving as Associate Curator and Content Manager at the American History Workshop from January 2009 to March 2011, where Aileen created content and managed projects for several notable exhibitions. Aileen holds a Master of Arts in Public/Applied History from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in English and Theater Arts from Muhlenberg College.
