Nancy Bateman

Nancy Perschbacher Bateman has extensive experience in museum collections management and administration. Currently serving as the Senior Registrar and Director of Collections at the National Building Museum since March 2011, Nancy previously held the position of Collections Manager at the International Spy Museum from August 2008 to March 2011. Additional roles include Gallery Manager/Collections Manager at Geoffrey Diner Gallery Inc., a Contract Archivist at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History, and various positions at the University of Pennsylvania and Bucknell University. Nancy holds a Master of Arts in Museum Studies with a focus on Collections Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology/Archaeology from the University of Pennsylvania.
