Kristi Govella

Kristi Govella is the Inaugural Director of the Center for Indo-Pacific Affairs at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Kristi is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Asian Studies. Kristi is an Editor at Asia Policy, works as an Adjunct Fellow at the East West Center and Pacific Forum, and previously served as a Senior Fellow and Deputy Director at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Their expertise lies in political, security, and economic trends in the Indo-Pacific region. Kristi has a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
