Zach Brown is a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research since June 2021 and an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Michigan since September 2018. Previously, Zach served as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research from July 2017 to August 2018, and as a Staff Economist at the Council of Economic Advisers in The White House from December 2013 to December 2014. Zach's early career includes experience as an Economic Consultant at Cornerstone Research from 2008 to 2010. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
