Garrett Hohimer

Garrett Hohimer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Garrett is currently employed as the Vice President of Policy & Advocacy at Business Group on Health since August 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Policy & Advocacy at the same company from July 2021 to August 2022. Garrett also worked at Alight Solutions as the Assistant General Counsel & Director of Government Relations from May 2017 to July 2021. Before that, they were a Senior Counsel - Legal Operations at Aon Hewitt, providing legal counsel and support for Affordable Care Act-related services from August 2013 to April 2017. Garrett started their career as an Attorney at Jacobs Burns Orlove & Hernandez, where they advised ERISA benefit funds and drafted legal documents from May 2007 to August 2013. Additionally, they have experience in production management and technical roles in the entertainment industry, including positions at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, University of Notre Dame - Dept. of Film, Television & Theatre, The Joffrey Ballet, and The Groundlings Theatre. Garrett also served as a Marine and Airframe/Hydraulic Mechanic in the United States Marine Corps Reserves from August 1993 to August 2001.
