Brian Nelson

Brian Nelson has been working in the risk management industry for over 25 years. Brian started their career as a technology analyst for Concurrent Technologies Corporation, before moving into the insurance industry. Brian spent six years as the branch manager for AIG Environmental, before becoming the environmental practice leader for Marsh. In 2005, they left Marsh to become an associate attorney with Babst Calland, where they remained until 2008. Brian then spent two years as the insurance risk manager for CentiMark Corporation before joining PMA Companies as the Central Region Manager for the Risk Management Segment. In 2016, they left PMA Companies to join Argo Insurance as VP of Partner Development. Brian left Argo Insurance in 2019 to become the Chief Underwriting Officer for Conway E&S, Inc. Brian is currently a board member for the National Cannabis Risk Management Association.

Brian Nelson attended Susquehanna University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental science. Brian then attended Saint Francis University, where they earned a Master of Business Administration. Finally, they attended Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Duquesne University, where they earned a Doctor of Law. Brian is also certified by the PA Insurance Dept as a PA Property and Casualty Resident Producer License.
