Pat Nelson

Pat Nelson has over four decades of experience in the captioning and court reporting industry. Starting in 1973, they served as President of Northwestern Court Reporters, specializing in medical, technical, and realtime depositions. In 1997, they became President of Riverside Captioning Company, a division of Northwestern Court Reporters, focusing on stadium events, large conferences, sports, and religious captioning. In 2010, they founded Pat Nelson Captioning LLC to continue their work in the industry.

Pat Nelson attended the Minnesota School of Business from 1970 to 1971, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Court Reporting. Pat also obtained additional certifications such as Registered Merit Reporter, Certified Realtime Reporter, and Certified Realtime Captioner from the National Court Reporters Association in 1990.
