Darrell Benvenuto

CEO at National Carrier Exchange (NCX)

Darrell Benvenuto has had an extensive career in the technology industry, beginning in 1993 as the CEO and Founder of Vision Entertainment Group. In 2002 they joined DAH Consulting as CTO, where they built out their Technology Services Group, responded to Federal RFPs, managed MIS and Helpdesk operations, and managed Technology Sales team members. In 2005, they co-founded Collision Studios, a video game development house, and also became President of Digital Octane, Inc. In 2011 they became a Board Member of Vision Online Games, and in 2021 they joined the CERT Los Angeles Community Emergency Response Team as a CERT Team Leader. Leveraging their FEMA training, they have participated in many planning and disaster response exercises, worked closely with CERT Bureau Coordinators to help implement various initiatives, and established and personally maintained the Battalion 18 GMRS Repeater Zello Gateway.

Darrell Benvenuto's education history includes attending Rachel Carson (IS 237) IGC from 1979 to 1981, Queens College from 1982 to 1986, and New York University from 1986 to 1987, studying Economics. Darrell then returned to Queens College from 1988 to 1993, studying Computer Science.
