Currently serving as the Communications Director and previously as Communications Manager at the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators, Taylor has built and led a communications team, overseeing diverse external content and strategic communications plans. Prior roles include Communications Coordinator and Program Associate, where Taylor managed social media, developed graphics and videos, and maintained grant budgets. Taylor's background includes management support at the US Environmental Protection Agency, a communications internship at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and various positions within environmental organizations such as American Rivers and the Potomac Riverkeeper Network. Taylor holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree from American University, specializing in Communication, Law, Economics, and Government, as well as Political Communication.

Created by and for state legislators, the Caucus serves as a resource on environmental issues through legislative research, organized events, and by facilitating collaboration between lawmakers working on similar issues.
