Brian Castelli

Brian Castelli is the current Treasurer at National Center for Appropriate Technology. Prior to this, they served as President & CEO of Home Performance Coalition from January 2014 to December 2018. Brian also has experience as Washington Liaison for the California Energy Commission from January 2001 to December 2005, and as Chief of Staff for the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy (EERE) from January 1994 to December 2001. Brian has also served as Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Energy Office from January 1987 to December 1994. In this role, they worked directly for the Lieutenant Governor and represented Governor Casey on local, state and federal energy policies and issues. Brian also created a revolving loan fund for clean energy projects and managed the Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority. Brian took the lead on responding to energy emergencies.
