Nina Prater is a skilled professional with extensive experience in sustainable agriculture and environmental science. Currently serving as a Sustainable Agriculture Specialist and Outreach Coordinator at the National Center for Appropriate Technology since May 2016, Nina has previously worked as a Water Quality Technician at the Sebastian County Conservation District, focusing on nutrient management plans for agricultural producers. Prior experience includes a role with Energy Corps, where Nina engaged in recycling education and outreach in Fayetteville, and a research position at the State of Arkansas Department of Health, which culminated in a Master’s thesis on wastewater treatment. Nina holds a Master of Science degree in Crop, Soil, and Environmental Science from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Environmental Science from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
