Cathy Miller

Director, FACE at National Center for Families Learning

Cathy Miller is NCFL’s Director of the Family and Child Education (FACE) program, Cathy provides training and technical assistance for NCFL-funded initiatives, including professional development and technical assistance for FACE, Toyota Family Learning, Early Learning Collaborative, and Paired Reading/Parent Engagement programs. She has more than 15 years in the education field as a family literacy director, Head Start education/early literacy coordinator, and elementary school teacher, specifically working in cross-cultural environments with ethnically and economically diverse populations. Ms. Miller is fluent in Spanish and specializes in research-based early literacy, ELL, and parent engagement workshops at NCFL. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Hope College and an elementary teaching certificate. In her spare time, Cathy enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time outside.
