Eric Washington

Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at National Center for Families Learning

Eric Washington (he/him) is a Black, Southern, and God-fearing DEI Manager for the National Center for Families Learning. Eric currently resides in Houston, TX. Eric attended Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, earning a Bachelor of Political Science and a Master of International Affairs, focusing heavily on Race, Ethnicity, and Gender Politics, Political Philosophy, and Women, Peace, and Security. Always passionate about Social Justice and tirelessly attempting to embody the values of equity, justice, and liberation daily, Eric constantly seeks growth within the Social Justice space by pursuing opportunities that contribute to meaningful and impactful change for the Black Diaspora. Outside of his professional roles, Eric is a dedicated family man, a MacPEGOT-pursing performance artist, and an active member of several organizations, including Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., BYP100, and the Houston Area Urban League of Young Professionals (HAULYP). Eric's current passion project is creating and delivering hand-made care packages for unhoused populations across Harris County.
