Rosa Guzman-Snyder

Director, Community Development at National Center for Families Learning

Rosa Guzman-Snyder initiates and develops community support at NCFL’s major project sites across the country. Rosa’s background includes ample experience fostering both community engagement and social justice. She previously worked with the NCFL in implementing Family Literacy programs at Pueblo City Schools in Colorado before founding the Community Language Cooperative (CLC) in Denver in 2013. The CLC, which works to promote language justice in a variety of capacities, has since grown to include 17 translators among 10 different languages. Rosa holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Nonprofit Administration from Colorado State University-Pueblo. In her spare time, Rosa enjoys playing the guitar and making music, cooking special dishes, and spending time with her family and friends.
