Jessica Melton currently serves as the EVP & Chief Transformation Officer at UF Health, a position held since October 2024. In addition to this role, Jessica is an active board member at the National Center for Healthcare Leadership and the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health Foundation, both since March and June 2021 respectively, and at the YMCA of South Hampton Roads since January 2021. Previous experiences include serving as JHHS VP for Strategic Initiatives at Johns Hopkins Medicine from February to October 2024, and as President of Suburban Hospital from April 2021 to February 2024. Prior to these roles, Jessica held various positions at Duke University Hospital, including Vice President for Medical Surgical and Critical Care Services, and Vice President for Emergency Services and Patient Flow, starting from July 2007. Jessica began professional training as a Patient Safety Specialist at Private Diagnostic Clinic, PLLC | Duke Health, after earning an MHA in Health Care Administration and a BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
