Senior Program Manager at National Center for State Courts

Violaine Autheman is the Senior Program Manager at National Center for State Courts. Violaine has worked in the justice sector for over 15 years, including 10 years with the National Center for State Courts. In their current role, they provide technical assistance and support to state and local courts across the United States.

Previously, Violaine served as the Chief of Party for the USAID Bangladesh Justice for All Program, Acting Chief of Party for the USAID Bangladesh Justice for All Program, and Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID Kosovo Justice Support Program. Violaine has also held positions as an M&E Specialist and Model Courts Coordinator with the USAID Kosovo Justice Support Project, and as a Civil Execution and Backlog Reduction Specialist with the USAID Justice System Reform Activity in Kosovo.

Before joining National Center for State Courts, Violaine was a Rule of Law Advisor with IFES, where they provided technical assistance to governments and civil society organizations on rule of law and democracy programs.

Violaine has a Master of Laws from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts from American University.

Violaine Autheman has an LLM in Law from American University, Washington College of Law, and a Maitrise de droit & DEJA II in Anglo-American Law from Université Paris X Nanterre.

Violaine Autheman reports to Jeffrey Apperson, VP, NCSC International. They work with Rebecca Castellucci - Program Manager, Jim McMillan - Principal Court Management Consultant, and Priya Amruthkumar - Program Manager.
