Jill Fitzsimmons

Jill Fitzsimmons has extensive experience in human resources and operations, currently serving as the Chief of Operations at the National Center on Education and the Economy since January 2013, where Jill has also held roles as Director of Human Resources and Benefits Administrator. Previous experience includes serving as Benefits and Pension Administrator at Verner Liipfert Bernhard McPherson and Hand from 1996 to 1999, and HR and Office Manager at Porter Novelli from 1994 to 1996. Earlier positions included Benefits Coordinator at Keller and Heckman LLP and Personnel Assistant at the National Institutes of Health - Division of Research Grants. Jill Fitzsimmons earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Maryland and a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from Marymount University.
