Laboratory Animal Facility Assistant at National Centre for Biological Sciences

Unnikrishnan M is a skilled laboratory technician with a strong background in microbiology and a diverse range of experience in animal research facilities. Currently serving as a Laboratory Animal Facility Assistant at the National Centre for Biological Sciences since November 2022, Unnikrishnan previously held the position of Laboratory Animal Research Technician at the National Institute Animal Nutrition and Physiology, where involvement included projects focused on spermatogonial stem cell transplantation and mineral bioavailability in rats. Earlier roles include repeated positions at the National Centre for Biological Sciences and as a Project Assistant at the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, working on cholera dispersal pathways. Unnikrishnan earned a Master’s degree in Microbiology from Marthoma College Tiruvalla, following a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Noorul Islam College of Arts and Science.
