Lillian Iversen has been with the National Cherry Blossom Festival since October 2002, currently holding the position of Vice President and Senior Director of Events & Marketing. Lillian manages the project management of the festival, overseeing two departments, full-time staff, seasonal contractors, and cultural organizations. Known for their strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, Lillian is highly regarded as a trusted team director. Prior to their current role, Lillian was a Production Assistant at the Florida Sports Awards. Lillian holds a Master's degree in Tourism Administration from The George Washington University School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Recreation from the University of Florida.

Save the dates, March 20 - April 14 National Cherry Blossom Festival, one of the world's great celebrations of spring! Each year, the National Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates spring in Washington, DC, the 1912 gift of the cherry blossom trees, and the enduring friendship between the people of the United States and Japan. The Festival produces a wide array of events featuring diverse and creative programming promoting traditional and contemporary arts and culture, natural beauty, and community spirit. Events are primarily free and open to the public.
