Cashawn Thompson

Cashawn Thompson is an experienced educator in early childhood education, currently serving as the Lead Preschool Teacher at the National Children's Center since April 2022 and as the Lead Toddler Teacher and Education Coordinator at Bright Start Early Care & Pre-School since January 2022. Cashawn’s diverse experience also includes freelance editing for Rebel Girls, a Lead Teacher for infants at St. Alban's Early Childhood Center, and a role at Bright Beginnings as an Infant/Toddler Teacher. Cashawn earned an ITERS score of 6 for two consecutive years while working with two-year-olds. Cashawn holds an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Trinity Washington University and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in the same field, along with a Child Development Associate credential from the University of the District of Columbia.
