Meredith Hamme has worked in the field of external affairs and advancement since 2012. Meredith began their career at Teach For America as a Development Specialist, then moved on to become a Development Coordinator, and finally a Corps Member - Elementary Special Education. In 2018, they joined the National Children's Museum as the Director of External Affairs and then as the Advancement Manager.
Meredith Hamme has a Master of Arts degree in Museum Studies - Management from The George Washington University, which they earned between 2017 and 2018. Meredith also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and English Literature & Language from the University of Virginia, which they earned between 2008 and 2012.
